FaceForge v0.1.0 Alpha

FaceForge is a privacy-first Windows desktop app for local AI face blur and video redaction.

The default workflow is Blur Faces / Privacy. It is built for creators, editors, educators, small businesses, and agencies that need to anonymize people in video without uploading footage to a cloud service.

Face replacement is available as an advanced, consent-based Pro workflow. It is not positioned as a generic deepfake tool.

The NVIDIA Windows ZIP is hosted on Google Drive because the CUDA runtime exceeds GitHub and itch.io file size limits.

QUICK START

1. Download the ZIP.

2. Extract it.

3. Run FaceForge.exe or run.bat.

4. Add a target video.

5. Leave workflow on Blur Faces / Privacy.

6. Adjust blur strength if needed.

7. Start export.

Windows SmartScreen may warn because this alpha build is unsigned.

MODEL SETUP

Some third-party model files are not bundled with the public alpha. FaceForge will show setup instructions when a workflow needs an additional model.

Model files belong in:

FaceForge\models\

Do not redistribute third-party model weights unless you have confirmed redistribution rights.

SAFETY

Use FaceForge for legitimate privacy, redaction, editing, and consent-based workflows.

Do not use it for nonconsensual media, impersonation, harassment, explicit or sexual content involving real people, minors, fraud, scams, or misleading identity use.
